This is the original 15 Track Mono recording.

Matrix No's are NPL 18233 A-3 and NPL 18233 B-3. 

Tracks are: Side 1. The Village Green Preservation Society, Do You Remember Walter, Picture Book, Johnny Thunder, Last Of The Steam-Powered Trains, Big Sky, Sitting By The Riverside. 

Side 2. Animal Farm, Village Green, Starstruck, Phenominal Cat, All Of My Friends Were There, Wicked Annabella, Monica, People Take Pictures Of Each Other.

Record condition: The record is in very good condition with various light surface marks. Really nice heavyweight vinyl. I have just played both sides all the way through and it plays absolutely fabulous. On the whole of side 1, I only heard one slight pop all the way through. No sticks or distortion. Side 2 there were a couple of tiny pops around half way through, but nothing to spoil the enjoyment of listening to this classic LP. Amazing sound and condition for a 1960's mono recording.           

Label condition:  The Light Blue Pye labels are both in excellent condition with just a few spindle marks around the hole on either side.  

Outer Sleeve/Cover:  The front and rear laminated sleeve shows some signs of wear and general usage, but I would still grade it as Very Good. The front has a bit of wear along the top and bottom edges. Corner wear is minimal. The laminate is complete and hasn't peeled or lifted, but there is an oval shaped bubble towards the top on the left side. It hasn't broken through or pierced, just makes the area look a lighter shade of brown. There are a couple of ripples in the laminate towards the bottom right corner. The rear side is really nice with just a bit of very faint ringwear starting to show. The matt inner gatefold has the flipback joins on the right side and apart from a tiny tear at the top and bottom by the pocket flap is in really nice condition as well.  

Spine condition: The spine itself is very good with just a tiny bit of wear at the top and bottom. All the printing is complete and undamaged and is clearly readable.

Inner Sleeve: White paper, poly-lined, die-cut inner sleeve in excellent condition.

Summary:  Another rare, classic Kinks album in lovely, original condition.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extras such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
