Rare MONO copy of this pressing on the
blue & black PYE record label.
The catalogue number is NPL 18233 and
was released in 1968
By 1968 the vast majority of LP's were Stereo issues and the mono format
was gradually being withdrawn. This is a rare example of that dedicated mono format
Stereo versions have a different mix
The matrix numbers: NPL 18233A-(13W crossed out) 3W & NPL 18233B-3W
and the "KT" tax code etched into the runoff
The record comes in the original mono front and back laminated, inner-flipback gatefold cover with mono catalogue number on the rear..

Disc Labels: EXCELLENT
A lovely pair (see photo) with a few spindle marks only seen in a certain light.
The writing on the label says

Visually: EXCELLENT
Superb deep-gloss playing surface which still retains its original shine. There is no reduction due to overplaying or bad storage. Under natural light I can only a couple of wispy hairlines that do not affect playback reproduction at all. Pancake flat disc.
Aurally: NEAR MINT
This wonderful true mono mix is presented here in outstanding unworn sound quality. No tics No clicks no hiss no crackle no groovewear. Crystal clear sound quality Tough to find a better example.
Cover: VERY GOOD These covers are nearly always worn and this is no exception. The flimsy front is clean with just a touch of wear to the edges. The rear panel too has a few light bends. Inside is perfectly clean & unworn with just a small split to the top & lower end of the centre hinge.(see photo) The spine still has the printing intact though there is a split in the middle.
