The Koala. Capitol LP #SKAO-176. Stereo. Original 1969. GARAGE PSYCH ROCK R&R Fuzz Rocker Pop
The Koala were years in front of the punk movement, as just about anyone who owns the LP has stated. This is an album full of strong chords, out of control fuzz guitar solos and kicking drums, snarling aggressive vocals, a mixture of The Who, Hendrix, The Young Rascals, Blues Magoos, and Cream, not to mention their own originality. For some idiotic reason, the record label pushed that they were Australian, when in fact they were from New York City. Shortly after finding out what the label and producers did to them, they disbanded, and the LP slipped into obscurity. Lousi Debra aka Louis Caine went on to form the early heavy metal band Sir Lord Baltimore. Mala after the unhinging went on to perform with The Magic Tramps and The Joe Perry Project. A Nugget of garage, punk, rock n roll.

Condition: ** This record is in its original SEALED Condition. I was very happy when I opened the box from my storage containing this Koala LP. It has been stored from the time of release, not opened, not played, and has not seen the light of day until now. Usually sealed records play in Near Mint Condition or better. If you choose to open this LP, it is being sold in sealed condition unknown, and not returnable. Thanks. * The original sealed cover is in-between strong Excellent and Near Mint Condition, no split seams, no front or back wear nor ring-wear, the spine is beautiful without niks or tears or frays, the top and bottom edges do not have niks, no tears, no frays. * If you decide to open this SEALED record, it is not returnable.
