Description

L.A. Explosion! is the debut studio album by American power pop band the Last, released in 1979 by record label Bomp!.
The #1 inspiration for The Descendents & countless other bands to come after. This is perfect power pop from the late 1970s and if you don't already know this record, you'll LOVE it.

Trouser Press called it "a near-perfect debut, marred only by flat production."In 1988, The Washington Post wrote that, "before the onslaught of corporate pop-rock ... there was one L. A. power-pop combo that was for real: The Last, whose classic 1979 L. A. Explosion album influenced popsters and punkers alike."
PLEASE NOTE:

This copy is priced accordingly. There's a heat warp that causes a "whoosh" for the first 20 seconds on each side. It does not skip in any way. The cover has standard VG wear. This was my copy for years (heck, I got used to the whoosh) and I've recently upgraded copies. Buy cheap & enjoy!
