Description

“The Life Of Riley” Radio Show Transcription Disc

One Complete 30 Minute Radio Program On This 16 inch, Vinyl, 33 1/3 rpm Disc

This disc was issued to Armed Forces Radio Service stations for broadcast to U. S. Troops overseas only and not available to the general public, Very Rare!

"The Life Of Riley" radio program from April 27, 1946 starring William Bendix with Paula Winslowe.  In this episode, Riley catches Junior playing the slot machine in the back room of Mike's Cigar Store, so he tries to teach him a lesson about gambling by betting Junior's bike money.  Riley purposely tries to lose, but keeps winning!  A very funny episode

Disc is in Excellent- condition with Excellent sound.  There is a slight wobble in the disc that did not effect play on my turntable

Due to their size, 16 inch discs may not play on standard turntables.   For $10 I can make a professional CD dub of the disc for the buyer

US Buyer Pays $6.50 Media Mail Shipping, additional transcription discs ship for free in the U. S.   For multiple items, please allow for invoice to be sent before making payment.
