TWISTED NERVE / MY FRIEND THE BLACKBIRD
1968 UK Polydor 56757. Superb cool sounding 1968 45, getting almost near impossible to find, the tracks are taken from the disturbing 1968 crime/psycho film 'TWISTED NERVE', the movie became one of the most talked about cult films of the 1960’s. The whistling on the A-Side of this 45 is backed by a excellent psych/beat tune, it was later used in the 2003 Quentin Tarantino film 'Kill Bill Vol.1', it was whistled by Daryl Hannah's character Elle Driver (AKA California Mountain Snake). This very rare cult OST 45 really does not get offered for sale very often at all and it will be a very long time before another comes along in such immaculate condition as this again.
CONDITION - EXCELLENT
?The vinyl is in excellent condition with a excellent glossy sheen, there are just a few very light surface marks/hairlines, nothing deep or nasty at all, both tracks play and sound great with the minimal amount of light background noise, again, nothing serious or loud at all, this is a nice playing/sounding copy that will not disappoint. The labels are excellent, although one of the three prongs has just about come away from the centre hole, this has no influence on play at all, the other two prongs are still firmly attached.
