Collector’s Overview

An extraordinary, unplayed New Old Stock (NOS) original 1969 first pressing of the holy grail sweet soul / Northern dancer "This Love" by The Love Potion on Kapp Records.

Coveted worldwide across the Northern Soul, Lowrider, and Sweet Soul scenes, this is the authentic White Label Radio Station Copy, designated with the bold red "A" plug on the A-side. To find this 1969 pressing at all is rare; to uncover a pristine, untouched archive copy paired with its period-correct original Kapp Records company sleeve is practically unheard of.

Detailed Condition & Grading (Strict Goldmine Standards)

• Vinyl / Playing Surface (Grade: Mint / Unplayed NOS):

Deep, jet-black factory mirror gloss straight from the press. Completely untouched and free of needle drops, drag marks, hairline scratches, or sleeve scuffs. Pristine, unworn grooves that have never seen a turntable needle.

• Labels:

Immaculate white-and-red promo labels with razor-sharp black typography. Absolutely zero spindle trails or circular wear around the center hole, confirming this copy has remained strictly unplayed. Clean and crisp with no marker, radio station ink stamps, stickers, or drill/punch holes.

• Original Kapp Factory Company Sleeve (Grade: VG):

The original 2-color Kapp graphic sleeve remains fully intact with bold orange-red and black print. Transparently preserved with authentic shelf character from 55+ years of quiet storage—gentle vintage paper age toning, minor edge creasing, and soft feathering around the die-cut opening. Structurally sound throughout with no blown seams, heavy tears, tape repairs, or stray markings.

Shipping & Returns Policy

Professional Packaging

• Secure Handling: Your record will be shipped in a dedicated, heavy-duty cardboard mailer (LP or 45 specific) with extra cardboard stiffeners to prevent bending or crushing.

• Pro-Tip Protection: To prevent seam splits during transit, all opened records are shipped with the vinyl removed from the jacket (housed in its inner sleeve) and placed behind the jacket within a 4mil clear poly outer sleeve.

• 45s: 7" records are shipped with the same level of care in dedicated 7-inch mailers.

Fast & Tracked Shipping

• Handling Time: I ship within 1–2 business days of receiving cleared payment.

• Tracking: A tracking number will be provided immediately upon shipment.

• Combined Shipping: I am happy to combine shipping. Please wait for a revised invoice before paying to receive the discounted rate.

Returns & Satisfaction

• The "Collector’s Guarantee": I use strict Goldmine Grading standards. If you feel the record does not match the description or grading, please contact me directly before leaving feedback. I am a collector first and I value your satisfaction.

• 30-Day Returns: I accept returns within 30 days. The item must be returned in the exact same condition it was received.

• 🚨 CONDITION POLICY: For opened records, returns are accepted if the item is returned in the same condition as sent. Any new scratches, sleeve scuffs, or damage to the jacket incurred while in the buyer's possession will void the full refund.
