THE MACC LADS - ROCKWEILERS - RARE 'GERMAN TOUR' ISSUED 7" - LTD PURPLE VINYL.
The Macc Lads the self-proclaimed rudest, crudest, lewdest, drunkest band in the whole wide 'uni - *uckin - verse'.
The Macc Lads were irreverent, foul-mouthed and very politically incorrect, their songs were mainly about their lives in Macclesfield which basically involved binge drinking, sex, drinking, fighting and yet more drinking and sex
The band now tend to be regarded more favourably by music historians, which is in stark contrast to the reaction they generated in their heyday, with many now claiming to appreciate the blatant schoolboy humour and tongue-in-cheek nature of the source material.
Which ever side of the fence your on the Lads shone bright for a few years before burning out.....I saw them live many times during their heyday and it was always a top night so cheers Mutley I owe you a pint.!
Also if ya get a chance to catch em on their current tour go along for a reet top night and their new album Wild Cider Wife is also well worth checking out.
Serious collector's who want to collect everything Macc Lads related will know the importance of having a copy of this in their Macc Lads collection, this was issued for their brief German tour in 1995 and was only sold on the merch stall.
Rare and much sort after ltd purple vinyl pressing, this didn't have a UK release unfortunately so very thin on the ground now.
Deleted for many years now, Sleeve is in excellent condition overall with very light storage wear only, The record is looking great with no major marks or scratches.
Low start considering its rarity value and no reserve.
