Description
Original 1969 Canada stereo press of LP on Poppy label
The Mandrake Memorial titled "Medium"
CONDITION:
heavy gatefold cover: VG++ to Excellent
lite shelf wear/soiling ~ bb lower left
a bit of early ring shows on the back
vinyl : VG++ to Excellent
clean with high gloss ~ a couple of minor sleeve lines/ faint scuffs
plays excellent with a touch of lite surface crackle here & there
& a few occasional very lite ticks

....Medium is the group's first real excursion into the world of psychedelia.
Overall, it is less consistent but possibly more interesting than their earlier effort.
Of particular interest is the opening track on side 2, the haunting After Pascal,
which has an unusual psychedelic intro, and the fuzztone guitar work
on Smokescreen. Another track Barnaby Plum has an unusual
psychedelic intro and a pleasant autoharp piece in the middle.
