TITLE/ARTIST: Please continue to check out all current and future listings as everything from my personal collection will eventually come up for sale - records from the '50's, '60's, and much, much more - all "oldies" and all in great condition! Here is another one of those early, super rare and highly collectible LP`s by a group called The Marcels from 1961. The LP is entitled "Blue Moon" and was this group's first - and only - LP release, and on the original, gold colored, Colpix Label . The album includes twelve (12) great songs, including their huge hit single of the same name - all in MONO and all in outstanding shape (again, please see the pictures above for all the song titles and more). It is yet another album in great overall condition - both the vinyl and the jacket. LABEL INFO: This original, first pressing, gold colored Colpix Label (CP 416) is nearly perfect with no serious issues at all - I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates little or no actual play time. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also super shiny, clean, and nice with again, nothing in any serious need of a mention - although side 2 has some very light (and I do mean very light), totally uneventful surface/paper lines in a few places . JACKET INFO: Finally, this attractive jacket is also very, very good, but it does a small scuff mark in one of the corner areas. Otherwise, it appears to be just fine and has no serious issues to speak of at all. INTERESTING FACTS: OK, maybe this rare and collectible 1961 album isn't absolutely perfect, but it sure isn't far from it! In my opinion, it's in the very, very nice shape, so please have at it and continue to check this site for more great conditioned "oldies" from my personal collection. As I have already mentioned, over time I am selling off my entire collection, and there are 100's more to get to yet -- of all genre's, sizes, and varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So again, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$23.00 for the 1st LP and then just $4.00 per LP after that. PLEASE NOTE: I take a great deal of pride in packaging all my mailings both safely and securely. However, I cannot be responsible for records that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services.
