To find an original copy in this condition is surely the stuff of dreams for collectors of early MOD FREAKBEAT gems!!  I'm Leaving was comped on the now legendary Decca set "The Freakbeat Scene" and sees THE MARK FOUR (shortly before changing their name to THE CREATION) serving up one of the most intimidating Mod Freakbeat performances ever!!!  Kick-off is courtesy of a grumblin' bass line, then you get met with snarlin', spittin' vocals from KENNY PICKETT and the usual brilliant guitar work from EDDIE PHILLIPS!!!

So, bid now to win this gem or, after the auction has ended, you can sit back in your chair and wonder how you managed to such a wonderful RARITY pass you by!!! Ask yourself when you honestly expect to see another one of these come up for sale in such great shape??!!

As you'll see from the photos, this is unconditionally guaranteed to be the ORIGINAL 1965 UK 1st pressing made with a 4-prong pushout centre, so you can forget about having to settle for one of those dodgy so-called "limited re-pressings" (many of which are actually bootlegs) that are flooding the market.

 

A TRULY fantastic double-sider, any fan of The Mark Four, The Creation, the Mod and Freakbeat scenes or 60s music in general will simply have to have this item in their collection!!!!

Grade (labels): The classic blue labels with silver print have superb colour vibrancy and are in lovely condition; there are initials on the A-side label which, due to the navy blue colour, do not detract.

Grade (vinyl): Incredibly superb and very strictly graded at EX+. The platter sits perfectly flat on the turntable and the playing surface has a truly wonderful sheen!!!  Of course, with the hyper-sensitivity of modern styli and amplifiers, any lucky winning bidder would need to accept the likelihood of a 48 year-old hunk of vinyl producing a touch of static here and there.  Good luck in finding another one of these nuggets......... they just do NOT turn up that often in this stunning shape!!!!

 

Grade (company bag): This fantastic gem is housed within its period-correct, orange with white diagonal pinstripes straight-top bag in superb shape!!!
