RARE AUSTRALIAN progressive rock band who recorded just one album in their homeland - issued on a tiny independant label. Think Genesis jamming with Barclay James Harvest but with a heavier guitar edge. Natrually there are no 'Marshall's' in the band which I suppose is supposed to be ironic - just like Max Webster. What we do have here is some killer prog - real people style - produced by Chris Neal who released a rare solo album down under during the early 70s before moving into film composition. The music is full of melodic twists and turns and features the epic eleven minute track 'Younger Now'. There's even some meat and potatoes heavy rock thrown in for good measure.
Tough to find in anywhere near decent condition as the cover was very thin paper stock and the pressing was on a private label. I've only seen two copies during my entire collecting life.
This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Vinyl: Seen a bit of use although on first glance looks nice and shiny. Lots of spindle marks on the labels. Closer inspection of the vinyl reveals numerous surface scuffs like its been lanquishing in a record pile without any sleeve protection. Playback is solid but with, as you might expect, intermittant snap, crackle and pop. Grades as Vg+
Cover: Issued in a beautifully illustrated fully laminated cover. Sharp corner tips, no dings, a little ring wear impression on the laminate, no split seams and one corner crease. Displays handling and shelf wear. Grades as Vg+
