Description

The Marvelettes. Please Mr. Postman. First U.S. Pressing on White Tamla Label. TM 228. Tamla/Motown Records. Detroit, Michigan. The classic original 1961 debut album by The Marvelettes. On Side 2 no. 5, on the album cover the song title is incorrectly listed as, "I Know How it Feels," but the song on the album itself is "Whisper." "I Know How it Feels" is song no. 5 on side one. In plain white sleeve. Side 1 Matrix/Run Off etched number is XCTV84446 1 KB Side 2 it is: XCTV84446 1KD TM228 Side 1 label is pretty clean. Side 2 has some wear and light pink there. Some wear to the record surface and scuffs but it plays well with just some light surface noise. Edgewear to the album cover and some wear and marks to the surface. Very good - copy of this great original recording by Gladys, Katherine, Georgeanna, Juanita, and Wanda that was released 53 years ago. FREE SHIPPING. I accept PayPal
