TITLE/ARTIST: Please continue to check out all current and future listings on this site as everything from my personal collection will be available over time - thank you! This ultra rare, super hard to find, very 1st LP - on the original, white colored label - by The Marvelettes honestly looks so good that I don't think it was ever played very much. The album - in mono - is entitled "Please Mr. Postman", after their hit record of the same title from 1961, and includes that hit song plus 11 others (see pics for all song titles). The album is the girl group's very 1st release and appears to be the very 1st pressing on the white colored label, from 1961 - and quite honestly, just isn't out there too much anymore - especially in this kind of condition. I'll will be listing many other LP's and 45's, in similar great condition, over the coming days and weeks ahead, so please bookmark my site and check everything out from time to time. Thank you in advance! LABEL INFO: The original, white colored, Tamla Label (TM 228) is nearly perfect with no issues whatsoever. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also extremely shiny, clean, and super nice with again, nothing in need of a mention - In fact, in my opinion, the vinyl appears to be about as nice as the day it was 1st purchased. JACKET INFO: Finally, this jacket is also in absolutely beautiful shape - and again, appears to be practically "like new" in condition with no visible flaws. Yes, in in my opinion, this entire package is almost as nice as the day it was 1st purchased, and I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with it. But, please view the pictures above and make your own decisions about everything. INTERESTING FACTS: I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and some C&W LPs, too. As I have already mentioned, I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 1000's more to get to yet -- of all genre's and varieties.
