MAILING COSTS ARE SHOWN AT THE BOTTOM OF THE DESCRIPTION: "THE MATING URGE" (1959) Music by STANLEY WILSON This film was not quite the high-minded documentary about mating rituals that the liner notes purport it to be, but rather an exploitation pot-boiler, posing as an anthropology art-film, and supposedly filmed by different cameraman in Africa, Malaya, India, Ceylon, Bali, New Guinea and New Hebrides. Nonetheless, having STANLEY WILSON compose and conduct the themes for the film was decidedly a plus. ( At the time, he was head of the Music Department at Revue Television Productions). This album is on INTERNATIONAL Records, number LP 7777. The VINYL is in EXCELLENT to NEAR LIKE NEW condition. The cover has some tape bottom right seam and some minor wear top left seam. Overall, it is fine, as the picture shows.
