This listing is for an early pressing of Mentors You Axed For It! on Enigma/ Death Records (a division of Metal Blade Records). This is # Death 001, 72036-1. See the pics for further details. This pressing has the distinction of having been etched, scratched & signed by El Duce on the upper right corner of the rear of the jacket, including thru the upc. It reads; TO WAYNE KEEP ROCKIN AND F##KIN THOSE SCUMBAGS YOUR BUDDY EL DUCE. The vinyl is VG to VG+ under a strong light & using a magnifying glass, there are some light scratches evident on both sides from sliding in & out of the sleeve. Can they be from hitting a hard surface or from on & off the turntable, I don't know to be honest. The vinyl looks played & still has that magnetic draw to it as it's picking up some dust, etc., while I examine it. I don't have the equipment to play this & test it, so will there be some background noise from these marks? Probably in a quiet moment but again, I can't test it. But overall, still a fine & rare lp for collectors, especially for THE AUTOGRAPH SIGNATURE area of the jacket. I DON'T HAVE A RECORD CLEANING MACHINE NOR THE LIQUID SOLUTION & CLOTHS TO DO A THOROUGH JOB SO I LEAVE THAT UP TO THE BUYER TO DO SO, IF SO DESIRED. SIDE ONE: Sandwich of Love (4:18), Shocked and Grossed (3:38), Four F Club (5:31), Herpes (5:20), Judgement Day (4:32), SIDE TWO: Sleeping Bandits (4:31), Free Fix (3:34), Golden Showers (3:14), Clap Queen (3:30), My Erection Is Over (3:26). The Mentors; Sickie Wifebeater-guitars, El Duce-drums/vocals, Dr. Heathen Scum-bass. The jacket has obvious wear, marks, scuffs, creases, etc., all around. The upper right corner is cut off. There is a hype sticker on the upper left corner of the front of the jacket with info about this lp. Also included is the original insert with lyrics on 1 side and B&W photos on the other. There is staining & obvious wear around the insert. I'm not a guy to bullshit anybody so I'm being very critical here & not gloating about the rarity, the condition, etc., like these other sellers that like to blow their own horn & hear themselves talk while patting themselves on the back.
