Description
THE METERS' "Look-Ka Py Py" released on JOSIE RECORDS (JOS-4011) in 1970, was their 2nd album for the small independent label. This is a DJ / Promo Copy with the DJ stamp on the back, but no mention on the labels. (See Back Cover for songs, info, etc.)
The LP is in strong VERY GOOD PLUS condition with a couple of light scratches and marks, primarily a couple on Side 1 / Song 3 which leaves a little background static, and on Side 2 / Song 5 (into song 6 for a few more seconds) which leaves the same light background static, but in both cases it is mostly unnoticed with the music loud and clear. On Side 1 / Song 1 & Side 2 / Song 1, there is light static for the first 30 seconds or so as above. Otherwise , most of the record plays close to NEAR MINT. The above scratches look worse than they sound.
The Cover is in VERY GOOD PLUS condition with very light wear to the front and back. The top and bottom seams both show wear with the top seam showing short semi-splits on the right side (Paper is very soft and coming up for about 1") while the left side has about 2 inches of soft paper and on the left corner a 1/4" split. The bottom seam is intact with small areas of semi-splits. The Title Seam is almost entirely clean except at the top corner where the small-split is on the top corner. The other 3 corners are generally sharp but showing light wrinkles.
What you see is what you get. I take Paypal within 3 days of end of auction. Media Mail is $4 or Postal Priority for $10 in the U.S. & and First Class OVERSEAS for $15.
