This record is in near mint condition. There are a few spindle marks on the label of side 2, but almost none on side 1. There are no pen marks on either side, and other than some small black marks on side 1 are in great shape.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are absolutely spotless in normal light. When viewed under very bright white light, there are a couple of extremely minor wispy lines as to be expected with a record of this age, but nothing remotely serious or deep. The record has no scuffs or blemishes, and has stunning vivid shine. It is in superb condition for its age and has been very well looked after.
I carefully play tested the record on my system(SME 3009 tonearm, Technics Deck and Ortofon stylus)and it plays near perfectly. It lays flat and there is next to no movement in the record arm. The sound produced is stunning; its crisp, dynamic and has virtually no interference other than a trace of static in the run in. There are obviously no skips, jumps, clicks or any other musical interference. Its an audio experience of great quality.
The stunning gatefold sleeve which has two fold out sections to complete the comic, is in excellent condition. It has only slight wear to the edges and corners(pics), and the writing along the spine is all clearly legible. Although legible there is however discolouring to the spine(pics).
The sleeve has no splits, tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere, it is in really great shape. Inside the gatefold is beautiful; its bright, has no pen marks, scuffs, ring marks and little else to report other than some mild discolouring in places. There is also mild discolouring to the front and back, but this is again fairly minor.
It includes its original plain white inner sleeve which is in very good condition. This has no splits, tears or pen marks, but does have discolouring, yellow spots and mild creasing.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a clean protective plastic outer and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
