ORIGINAL U.K VINYL LP

1964

STATESIDE LABEL

CATALOGUE NUMBER: SL10099 MONO

GARROD & LOFTHOUSE SLEEVE

UK COPY

MATRIX NUMBERS A: SRX 3203-IN   B: SRX 3204-IN

VINYL EX+

(I have been dealing with vinyl for many years now, and this LP really has to be one of the best I have seen of its age. Vinyl condition is stunning, immaculate and but for my policy (see below) would have been graded mint. Looks unplayed).

 SLEEVE EX-

(Cover is immaculate, slight ageing on the rear and a corner crease to the front laminate is all that prevents an ex+ grading. No spinewear whatsoever and very minimal edgewear. Beautiful).

This is the first original U.K release of the album on Stateside, licensed from Motown Records. Really hard to find now, especially in this condition.

Gradings info:

I am very conservative with my gradings due to working in record shops for years. I will never grade anything MINT unless it has been unopened in shrink wrap. I will also not list or sell any vinyl that is unplayable or unlistenable, which means anything below FAIR in the Record Collectors Guide.

All gradings are based on Record Collectors Guide as detailed below.

LOW START. NO RESERVE!

Please pay for all auctions within 7 days.

I usually post items within 3 days of payment, or every Monday & Friday, whichever is nearest to auction end.

International bids are welcome, but please be aware that I will only post items abroad using International signed for postage. This costs more and the price is reflected in the postage costs for overseas. If you do not agree with prices then please do not bid.

I'll always combine postage for more than one item, so please wait for invoice.

Many thanks & happy bidding!

Record Collectors Grading Guide

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT:
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD:
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD:
The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR:
The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR:
The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD:
The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
