(Stateside SL 10099 UK LP 1964)

This is a 1964 UK Mono LP 1st pressing in very reasonable overall condition! It has a heavyweight front laminated flipback sleeve. This has a mid sized "Mono" on the front. The sleeve is printed by "Garrod & Lofthouse". It comes with its original tracing-paper lined generic "Emitex" company inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has black & green "Stateside" labels. The labels have the "Sold in UK.." and "Recording First..." texts. They also have the "A Tamla-Motown Production" credit. There is also an embossed "KT" tax code around the spindle hole on Side 1's label. The 1st press matrix numbers are: Side 1: SRX 3203-1N and Side 2: SRX 3204-1N.

This is a genuine UK 1st pressing of this extremely rare & early "Tamla Motown" UK LP release. A great early Smokey Robinson & The Miracles LP too. This LP seldom turns up in the UK. This is a very reasonable copy too. Don't miss out!


Sleeve: There is a 2 cm tear at the centre area of the front sleeve opening only (see photo). There is no tear on the rear sleeve opening. The tear hardly really notices that much. It almost certainly could be carefully repaired if desired. There is the original owner's name written on the rear sleeve. This is neatly written in black ink (see photo). There is some light, mild or very mild rubbing wear on the sleeve opening edges on some areas. This is not that noticeable. There is a small area of minor staining near the top of the rear sleeve. Again, this is not too noticeable. There is light, mild or very mild rubbing wear to the  corner tips. The spine is in Excellent+ condition. Overall, a strong Very Good+ condition.

Vinyl: There are some light, mild or more moderate sleeve rubs which can only be seen under a strong light. The inner sleeve, over time, has left some light, very mild or very minor dull surface marks on some areas. These, again, can hardly be seen under a strong light. There are no scratches. Overall, Very Good condition. The labels are in Excellent+ condition and show minimal spindle wear only. The tracing-paper lined "Emitex" company inner sleeve is in Very Good condition. It shows light, mild or very mild ringwear & creasing. There is more moderate to considerable fading. A name has been neatly written on one side. There are no seam splits.

I have play tested this LP in its entirety & it plays Very Near Excellent to Excellent overall, & Excellent+ in many places. There is some light, very mild or very minor crackle in a very few quieter places. There are no clicks or pops. Overall, a great audio copy!

Royal Mail have very recently increased their postage rates. So I have revised my postage costs to reflect their increases. (Please note that these prices include packaging costs too) 
Double LPs are classed as two LPs. Also posters, inserts, etc.. can increase postage costs. One parcel must not exceed 2kg (approximately 4-6 LPS).

All records will be sent in high quality vinyl mailers with at least two card stiffeners either side of the LP or 7" Single. I use a cruciform box for larger orders (3-6 LPs). All parcels will be marked "Fragile" and dispatch time will generally be between 1-3 days after payment.

I will also remove the vinyl from the sleeve & place them in a re-sealable polythene sleeve. In order to prevent seam splits. Depending on the inner sleeve; I often remove the vinyl from the inner sleeve & place it in a separate plain paper, or polythene-lined, plain inner sleeve. I am very conscientious and careful when packaging your LP(s).

I consider my postage & packaging costs to be very transparent & very fair. Packaging costs will generally be between £0.80 to £1.50. I am not adding any further costs for handling, etc...
