Description
This is one of the first pressings of 1000 copies. The first pressing of "Bullet" consisted of 1,000 copies on black 7" vinyl with a gatefold cover and lyrics sheet. These copies had "distributed by Ork" printed on the back sleeve, as a distribution deal with Ork Records had been planned, but distribution through Ork never took place.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS HAS A SMALL QUARTER INCH CRACK IN THE EDGE. IT DOESN'T AFFECT THE PLAYING, MAYBE A FEW LIGHT TICS ON SIDE 2. CLICK THE LINK AND LISTEN FOR YOURSELF. VISUAL RECORD CONDITION..........VG, LOTS OF SCUFFS AND WEAR BOTH SIDES, BUT THIS PLAYS GREAT, AT LEAST VG++. I LISTENED TO ALL 4 SONGS AND THERE IS NO BACKGROUND NOISE DURING THE SONGS. NO SKIPS ON ANY SONG.
JACKET.......................................................VG, GATEFOLD, 2 PIECES OF TAPE ON FRONT EDGE AND BOTTOM, SAME ON BACK. THE FRONT HAS 2 CREASES BUT NO RIPS (SEE PICS) NOT TOO BAD. THE BACK SIDE IS CLEAN EXCEPT FOR THE TAPE. THE ONLY TEAR IN THE SLEEVE IS A 1/2" TEAR AT TOP EDGE OF SPINE (SEE PICS) TAPE MAY BE ABLE TO BE REMOVED BUT I'M NOT CHANCING IT.
"Bullet" is the second single released by the horror punk band the Misfits. The four tracks comprising the EP were recorded, along with thirteen others, in early 1978 for the proposed Static Age album. When the band could not find a record label to release the album, they instead released four of the songs as "Bullet" on singer Glenn Danzig's label Plan 9 Records.
.[1] A second pressing of 2,000 on red vinyl had a different back cover, removing the band photo and mention of Ork and replacing it with artwork of a bullet hole and the words "better dead on red".[1] 7,000 additional copies were later pressed on black vinyl with the same cover as the second pressing.[
