The Original Tapes, recorded in 1972 • Previously Unreleased.
VINYL is EX (VG++)
High gloss, extremely clean vinyl with no scratches or physical scuffs. Faint inaudible storage mark at rim visible in hard bright light, each side (this is only pressure sheen from inner sleeve from decades of snug housing, upright in deep collection. Overall clean labels, but 'LH' initials (black-on-black) at rim, side 2 label in ball point.

COVER is VG (+)
Clean and solid with general overall shelf wear to black background. Clipped u.r. corner and mark on front from previous sticker (no residue, tear or sticker remains; but visible color fade showing at that spot). Straight edges and sharp corners all around, Seams and spine completely intact with no splits - Spine titles completely legible with no wear to text.
VG (+) is a grade between VG and VG+.
Nothing here is very serious but adding up the corner clip, shelf wear and sticker mark, puts it to me, just below true VG+

The Modern Lovers only ever recorded demos and live shows, but their earliest recordings were released finally in 1976 on this self-titled album on HOME OF THE HITS Records. It was reissued on the Beserkley Records label later the same year. Both are long Out of Print.

who was a DJ at the Radio Station I co-founded in the 1970's - and who worked for me at my California record store in the '70s and '80s.
Sadly he has now finally left this mortal coil, bequeathing me his deep Vinyl Mine.
