Description
This is a rare original 1966 single 45 rpm record by a very popular New Jersey garage band called "THE MODS"... released on "MOD RECORDS". A very popular band... they issued their own magazine which featured them and all the 1960's New Jersey teen bands including future superstar BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN and his 1965-68 band "The Castiles". (The Castiles also recorded and pressed their own single in 1966 and that 45 has sold for $15,000.00 at auction!!). THE MODS often performed on the same bill and at the same clubs as Springsteen when he was a teenager. This single contains "Smile You're On Candid Camera" and "Ritual". The Mods actually preformed their song on the popular TV show "Candid Camera"!!! This is a NEW record which was NEVER played, in the original paper sleeve. Guaranteed to be original and from 1966. A rare piece of New Jersey Rock & Roll History!
