Description
THE MONKEES "CHANGES" Original Issue: Colgems COS-119 Stereo LP
- VINYL: Looks clean, unscratched and rarely played; a couple of barely-visible streaks (finger-brushing?) on side one and a couple of eraser-sized smudges on side two; none of these affects the sound quality. There are a couple of pops but otherwise sounds exceptional. NOTE: If you want a photo of side two's vinyl condition, just ask (I only just saw that I didn't have it mid-listing) :-)
- COVER: Still glossy and supple; no splits. One crease of about 1 1/2" is present just above and outside the knee of Mickey's shadow. Very minor wear mostly confined to the corners; spine-title is legible. About 1/4" of the bottom seam is peeled off but barely noticeable.
- INNER SLEEVE: Colgems standard. 1 1/2" split at top edge. Small splits at centers where record contact is made.
- LABEL: Label is as original.
INTRO: I've been out of eBay action for awhile and lost my TRS and PS ratings, but am experienced in giving my customers 100% satisfaction (or as close as I can get). Prior to this I'd been selling baseball cards and comics with excellent results. The albums are cleaned with the Hunt E.D.A. Mark 6 Brush, and played on a Pro-ject Audio Systems 1.2 turntable. Rest assured that I'll pack and ship your records with care. I'm unable to accept returns at this point, but will work out any problems with you (and have rarely had any).
GRADING: I'm not a professional grader, but have collected and cared for records since the early '60s when I began collecting. I'm uncomfortable with the vagueness and subjectivity of modern grading terminology, but I'll describe the sound and quality to the best of my ability, playing the record through for pops or skips and then examining the vinyl visually under strong light. Likewise the cover's quality and "feel", as well as inner sleeve, label, and other notes. Please refer to the photographs when considering your bid, and if you have any questions or want better photos, please ask and I'll respond quickly.
N.A. SHIPPING: I'll ship US Media Mail by default, but will ship however you wish, as long as you foot the bill. If you want quicker service than Media Mail, research the costs/availability and we can make arrangements before payment. I'll most always ship 1-2 days after cleared funds are received. Also factor in insurance/customs if necessary; the winning bidder is responsible for these.
- USA: $4 for USPS Media Mail w/ Delivery Confirmation; + $2 for each additional album (+$3 for double albums)
- CANADA: $10.99 for USPS 1st Class Mail; +3 for each additional album (+$4 for double albums)
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: I haven't shipped International before, so it'll be touch-and-go until I sort things out. The address needs to be verifiable so as to allow for tracking/confirmation of delivery. Also, please consider insurance, customs, and other costs before bidding. As above, I'll ship in any (track-able) manner which you prefer, as long as you bear the cost. It may take a day or two longer to arrange than the US shipping, but hopefully not. For now, I'll go with USPS First Class Mail, which is estimated at $18.99, + $5 for each additional album or + $8 for double albums.
Please note: these prices aren't etched in stone, and I'll be adjusting them as I see how these methods work. I have no interest in charging any fees other than the actual shipping, so will try to adjust them downwards as time goes on :-)
OUTRO: Over the next few weeks (and hopefully beyond!) I'll be putting up much of my record collection of LPs and 45s, which includes many rarities, demos and promotional items. I plan on eventually expanding into miscellany such as tour programs and magazines, so please stay tuned!
Thank you for looking and (considering) bidding on this item, and good luck!
