Strange, self-parody film soundtrack album from the ‘manufactured’ 60s band which was starting to see the end of the meal ticket. Curiously I find this probably the most listenable of all their albums!
This is the rare UK?&?Europe Mono version of the album with the white (cream)-coloured laminated sleeve
Sleeve: VG+ not far short of excellent. Only issues are some lamination bubbles (not broken) near the edges plus somebody has thoughtfully written 79p on Mike’s shirt on the reverse picture - doh!
Inner Sleeve: White generic
Disc: G/VG. There is some surface noise on the album, plus a visible scratch which affects Track 2 on Side 1 by way of an audible pop through much of the track. However there is no sticking, skipping or jumping on the disc.
NON-U.K.?BIDDERS - Please bear in mind BEFORE bidding that international delivery costs (I use ebay’s Global Shipping Programme) MAY?BE?MORE than the value of the record. If that’s going to be a problem, please DON’T?bid.
I’m not a record dealer but just someone who has suddenly reached pensionable age and that old adage ‘You Can’t Take It With You’ has started to ring true.
So it’s time to release some equity from my record collection, which includes 60s,70s & 80s vinyl albums and singles, plus my extensive, predominantly-1977 punk/new wave singles collection (including a genuine Peaches ‘Blackmail’ sleeve to be auctioned at some stage….)
My gradings are guided by Discogs, and I’m trying to be as honest and accurate as I can. All records played one last time before posting on ebay, just to be sure…
