Hi, I started collecting vinyl Lp's and 45's in 1971, I have 20,000 + which I have moved now 5 times. So it's time to let at least half go. Most are in at least Excellent condition. I can't listen to them all, so most will only have visual grading, any with a high start price, I will listen too, and play grade.

Days of Future Passed is the second album and first concept album by English prog rock band the Moody Blues, released in November 1967 by Deram Records. With its fusion of orchestral and rock elements, it has been cited as one of the first examples of progressive rock.
The album was recorded at a time when the Moody Blues were suffering financial difficulties and lack of critical and commercial success. Their parent label, Decca Records offered them a chance to record a stereo LP that combined their music with orchestral interludes. They decided to compose a suite of songs about the life of everyday man, with the group and orchestra mostly playing separately and mixed together. It was a moderate success upon release, but following steady radio airplay, particularly of the hit single "Nights in White Satin", it became a top ten US hit in 1972. It has since been listed among the most important albums of 1967 by Rolling Stone.
Original and later mixes
In July 1978, it was discovered that the UK master tapes for Days of Future Passed had deteriorated. As a result of this, the album was remixed in its entirety in August 1978, which was used for reissues between 1978 and 2017. Some compilations, however, continued to use the original 1967 stereo mix for certain songs. The album's original mix was eventually released in its entirety on Compact Disc in November 2017.
The ways in which the later mix departs most noticeably from the original are:
1. After the orchestral intro, "Dawn Is a Feeling" begins more abruptly, and there is less echo on Mike Pinder's vocal on the bridge, making it more prominent.
2. On "Another Morning" Ray Thomas's double vocals are spread left and right in the stereo channel. The flute interlude is also played twice towards the end of the song before the orchestral segue.
3. The orchestral intro "Lunch Break" goes on about 20 seconds longer before fading out.
4. The bridges to "(Evening) Time to Get Away" have John Lodge singing alone; all the backing vocals on that part have been lost.
5. The end of "(Evening) Time to Get Away" is missing a Mellotron part and only repeats twice, instead of three times.
6. "The Sun Set" is missing some piano parts, percussion parts, and the reverb on "through the night" is different.
7. "Twilight Time" begins more abruptly after the orchestral interlude.
8. The backing vocals on "Twilight Time" are heard through the entire song instead of only coming in at certain points.
9. At the beginning of "Nights in White Satin", as the orchestral prelude ends, there is one less beat of time before the rhythm section starts in.
10. Some of the strings near the end of "Nights in White Satin" (before "Late Lament") are out of sync with the main body of the song.

EXCELLENT :- Visual only.
SLEEVE :
VERY GOOD PLUS :- condition, 1st Press laminated cover no inner flip back. STEREO Rarely seen, have a look at the photo's, it's sleeve has no writing, tape residue on rear light staining.
SPINE:
Perfect readable spine.
INNER SLEEVE:
NEAR MINT. the Original printed blue Decca lined paper type...being the very fragile inner sleeve is a great indicator of the amount of usage the album has had, I would say the inner is the best you could find! and considering how fragile these are.....they are 55 years old, quite unbelievable intact condition.
LABELS:
DERAM DERAMIC SOUND SYSTEM & Made In ENGLAND BY THE DECCA CO. LTD across the center above the hole. Clean, No Writing, light spindle marks, no damage.
GRADING SYSTEM: In order to assist everyone who buys and sells rare discs, Record Collector magazine has originated a set of standards for the condition of second-hand records, I have added a (+) or (-) to my gradings where applicable.
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
PAYMENT:
Items must be paid for within five days. If non payment within five days, I will then instigate an eBay ruling. I will set up a dispute and either offer it to the runner up bidder or re-list.

I do accept returns, and on receipt of the item I will give a full refund - however - I will not refund what it costs the buyer to send it back, as otherwise I am just paying for the customer to look at it. PACKAGING:
I use preformed and standard mailers with stiffeners. I always take the vinyl out in its inner sleeve and place on top of the cover. This is then placed into a soft protective sleeve and packaged with stiffeners for full protection.
