Description
This is a SEALED 80's copy of The Moody Blues 1981 album "Long Distance Voyager", NOT a current reissue on Friday Music. "LDV" was their first release without the help of original Moody Blues keyboardist Mike Pinder, replaced now by Patrick Moraz (fresh from the band YES as Rick Wakeman's replacement for the album "Relayer", and the live "YESshows"). Moraz had played with the Moodies on their tour following the release of their reunion album "Octave" after Pinder decided to leave the band (check YouTube for a very interesting court TV show where Moraz sued the Moody Blues for financial issues following his later release from the band, it's kinda hilarious and very interesting, unbelievable to see someone suing the band they were in on TV in a Judge Judy-ish setting for several episodes). This album includes the Moody Blues first hits since the 70's, "The Voice" and "Gemini Dream". This copy is still completely SEALED(though there is a small piece missing on the front top left, see pic), with really good corners, NO tears or splits in the shrink wrap, a very legible spine, and is a gatefold. There is a very short saw mark at the opening, so please see the photos before purchasing from us (or anyone of course). We've been selling on eBay for awhile now, having stopped for a slew of surgeries and now retired from employment because of it. So, we're opening up a record store where it will be easier for me to stay active with my issues, and all proceeds from sales of our (mostly rare / scarce) vinyl goes towards making our store a reality (building records racks now, and our CD racks are full!). This will be by Media Mail, which is a bit slower but allows us to ship all US vinyl purchases FREE! We use official LP mailers with the record outside the cover, and in clean white sleeves separately from any photo inner sleeves. All vinyl is cleaned with an enzyme spray then finished with a SpinClean Machine. With sealed vinyl, please understand that we will only accept returns if the LP is still sealed, which is for our financial protection as well as yours.
