THE MOSCOW SESSIONS -- SHEFFIELD LAB'S TLP-1000

Three record boxed set. Includes TLP-25, TLP-26 and TLP-27.

The vinyl records all appear NM, however, when I listened to random portions I noticed a few areas where there was some very faint background noise. So I will list the vinyl as EX.

The box is structurally sound but there is wear around the outside edges. So I will split the grade as such: Structurally NM, Visually VG+.

  This album was recorded in the U.S.S.R in 1986. It contains works by; Glinka, Tchaikovsky, Mussorgsky, Shostakovich, Piston, Barber, Copland, Gershwin, Griffes, Glazunov and Ives.

  For those of you who do not already know of this recording, it is a very highly regarded (audiophile quality) set of recording sessions produced from original analog two-track tape. It is on Harry Pearson's TAS list of recommended vinyl record albums. I personally havn't listened to the whole set but the portions I listened to were very impressive.
