Description

This is a RARE original 1966 45 RPM single record by New Jersey garage rock legends THE MOTIFS.  The songs are "Molly" and "If I Gave You Love".   The Motifs were one of the most professional and popular bands on the Jersey Shore in the mid 1960s, and one of their biggest fans was future superstar BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN.   Bruce would attend their shows and study their music and moves.  He described this in his autobiography "Born To Run" and in his solo Broadway show "Springsteen On Broadway".   The band was lead by the Cichon Brothers (one was killed in Viet Nam), with future Springsteen band-mate Vinnie Roslin on bass.   An important piece of Springsteen and New Jersey music history.   This single was pressed 53 years ago by "Selsom Records", which was owned by teenage promoter & musician Norman Seldin.     In excellent condition with no visible flaws, with the original brown paper sleeve.  Will be CAREFULLY packaged & shipped by Priority Mail.      Guaranteed original and authentic.   An excellent piece of rare vintage SPRINGSTEEN and N.J. rock  memorabilia, perfect to display.   A great gift for any BOSS fan or collector!!    Payment due within seven days of the auction's closing.    Please see my PERFECT 945+ feedback.
