THE MOVE ~ Shazam ~ UK 1st PRESS REGAL ZONOPHONE 2U/1U w/Press Fault EX+ LP
This a beautifully clean copy of The Move's Shazam album, issued on Regal
Zonophone in 1970. True first pressings with the 1U matrix on the b-side
were pressed with a fault at the end of "Don't make my baby blue", rapidly
re-pressed as identified by a 2U matrix. So my grading ignores the standard
pressing issue of course.
As you'll see from the photos, the cover on this copy is generally very clean, no
dirt pick-up, uncreased, one small area of rubbing bottom front as shown, a
little laminate lift rear cover and slight extreme corner dinks top left &
bottom right. All sounds worse than it is, it's a lovely cover.
The labels are both clean, the vinyl surfaces are free of play wear and look
shiny like new, the lightest of hairlines when held in strong light, and hardly
any of those, very lightly played and great sound.
