Description
this was an early version of Slade. They evolved out of a Woverhampton-based band, The Vendors, who didn't record commercially but did produce a four song demo, in 1965. only released EPs in France on the Barclay label, but by 1966 Noddy Holder had joined from Steve Brett and The Mavericks along with Jimmy Lea and recorded a cover of The Young Rascals' You Better Run, . the n,betweens continued on the Midlands circuit mostly doing cover versions before changing name to Ambrose Slade and the rest, as they say, is history.on offer here is that single,this is the original released in 1966 on the columbia label db8080 ,.you better run/evil witch man,the record as still got a nice shine to it and i would grade it very good plus to excellent condition,with very little spindle wear,please see pictures,there is some very very faint surface marks which i would say as been caused by the sleeve which does not affect play in any way,this really is a great copy of a mega rare single,do not let this record get away,this record as got to be a must for any fan of psych,60,s music or slade on offer here with no reserve so thanks for looking and good look bidding please feel free to e-mail me with any questions,this is a great record i accept uk cash,us dollars,euros and uk cheques only ,..i do not charge more for using pay-pal
