Description
On offer is this fine example of this rare original VINYL issue of the debut album from The NICE called "THE THOUGHTS OF EMERLIST DAVJACK", it was released during 1967 in both Mono and Stereo versions (this copy is the earlier Mono variant) on the IMMEDIATE Records label IMLP O16. The title was created from the abbreviated names of the four group members, Keith Emerson, Lee Jackson, David O,List & Brian Davidson.
CONDITION: The vinyl has a super deep gloss, when examined under a strong light there are visible a number of fine paper scuff marks to the surface but be assured these do not impact on the listening experience during audio playback: apart from a little surface noise on run ins the record plays faultlessly throughout with excellent sound quality. The labels are very clean and tidy with just some spindle lines visible. There exists some discolouration to the paper inner sleeve which is fitted with a plastic liner, there are no splits or tears. The cover has a very small amount of edge wear, there is a surface mark to the top right hand corner of the front where a small self adhesive label has been removed; the pinched spine is 100% legible.
I have awarded an overall grade of VERY GOOD+ to the vinyl and cover as per Record Collectors grading system.
