THE NIGHTCRAWLERS LP LITTLE BLACK EGG (Kapp Records KL-1520). Released 1957.
** Contains the Kapp Records printed inner sleeve adorned with popular Kapp releases of the day!!
Original US mono press from 1966. Recommended to fans of the Beau Brummels. Produced by Steve Alaimo & Brad Shapiro. Vintage black Kapp Deep Groove label. The paper inner sleeve looks great with its pics of LPs by The Searchers & Francois Hardy! Pressed on a nice thick slab of vinyl. Noticeable waer on the cover. Songs & arrangements by Charlie Conlon. The Nightcrawlers hailed from Daytona Beach, FL. (Etched Matrix Number: "KL 7 1520-K-2").
COVER - VG-
Five-inch top seam split, and the entire spine is split. One inch square area of sticker residue on front. A small area of ballpoint pen writing on back. Great unfaded rich color with minimal ring wear. Quarter-inch BB hole in upper right corner marks this as either a cut-out or promo. Hardly any ring wear. Illustration & print are sharp and are free of sun washout. Noticeable corner banging. The inner sleeve is in fine shape with no tears, writing, creases or stains. Good print & color! Beautiful label is free of stickers, writing & scuffs. Sharp cut hole with faint transparent spindle brushings.
DISC - VG+
This still remains in fairly good shape with just a few light hairline scratches. Still shows a nice-looking reflective sheen. No skips & no heavy scratches. Nice thick platter free of warps.
