Description

I'm currently selling some records for a friend of mine, renowned Toronto music publicist Richard Flohil. A legend in the Canadian music scene, he's been a publicist and concert promoter since the 1950s when he first touched down in Toronto from the UK. He booked B.B. King and Buddy Guy’s first Canadian concerts and he’s still working at 87.


Here's a lovely item from Richard's collection. It's The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's Will The Circle Be Unbroken triple LP - a super impressive triple LP on which an all-star cast of old-time country stars of the Grand Ole Opry joined the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band for a country/bluegrass collaboration that introduced the country legends to a whole new audience. it's a first UK pressing.


This copy os rather special because the front cover bears the signatures of John McEuen, Jeff Hanna, Jimmie Fadden and Jimmy Ibbotson. The records are all barely played. The tri-fold sleeve has some minor wear to the back, and a very small tear to the right side of the front cover, shown in detail in the last photo.
