Original pressing in a run of 500 copies by classic Brisbane power punk band the Numbers. They later changed their name to the Riptides and this record was re-released in a larger print run. This copy was autographed by three members of the band Mark Callaghan (lead vocals) Robert Vickers (bass) and Allan Reilly (lead guitar) on the back top right corner (see scan) back in the late seventies. They were friends of the guy I got this off.
Condition wise, you probably couldn’t get a better cover. It’s almost impeccable. It’s EX++ as are the labels. The (a) side of the vinyl has some little light marks and I’d say it’s around VG++. It plays around EX+ ( Little background sound. No skips or repeats). Visually, the (b) side is around VG and plays VG+ (Some background sound. No skips or repeats) I tested the record thoroughly on my Technics player. I placed the arm on a weight of 0.5 grams and played both sides thru a few times to get the above results. Glossy vinyl. A rare one.
CONDITION WISE:
MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT: Slight signs of having been played, no lessening of sound quality. Cover, label, extras are good.
VERY GOOD: played quite a few times, no real deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras slight amount of wear and tear.
GOOD: showing some wear and tear. Reasonable, playable sound. No major defects in record, cover, label, extras.
FAIR: Sound quality deteriorated. Cover, label, extras display folding, scuffing, marks. .
