This record is in excellent condition. It has just a couple of spindle marks visible on the labels and there are no scuffs, stains, pen marks or other issues. Overall the labels are in great shape.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are nice and clean with a vivid lustre and no major signs of use. There is a few minor faint signs of use and some 'manufacturing whiskers'(often found on US pressings). These are all very minor however and overall the record is nice and clean and visually really good.
I play tested the record and it produced excellent audio from start to finish. There are no skips, sticks, clicks and little to no surface noise or interference. There is no issues with the audio and it was a pleasure to listen to.
The record does have some warping to it however. This is not extreme enough to cause jumps or playback issue but there is a noticeable raise in the arm upon playing. It is more severe on side 1 with a lesser degree showing on side 2. So a record that sounds great but does have the arm movement/warping to consider.
The gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition. It has a small amount of wear and light rubbing on the edges and corners but there are no splits or weak areas. There are no tears, scuffs or pen marks and hardly any creasing or ring marks. There is some age related fading in places however, mostly around the edges(see pics). Inside the gatefold has no issues and overall it is a tidy sleeve with no major issues but some general signs of age. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It includes its original 'The Sound Of Philadelphia' inner which is in excellent condition with just light discolouring and mild wear to the edges. I will send the record in a brand new plain white replacement to ensure no damage occurs to the original during transit.
The record will be packaged in between cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
