  • Details:- This is The Open Mind 1st UK press on Philips and is one of the rarest UK LP's there is. This LP is almost impossible to find. Stunningly rare and stunning musically. Surely a Psych Holy Grail!

  • Vinyl:- The vinyl has had very little play but I have to grade VG and not EX. To be more specific both sides of the vinyl have lovely deep shine and the overall sound quality is crisp and clear however the reason I must drop it down to VG is because there is one long light scratch on side two which goes from the run-in to run-off groove.

  • What effect does this have on play?
  •  
  • From my full test play this is what I find.
  • Side one is 100% EX with great sound production. Side two is equally crisp and clear but the scratch is audible in the following places:- Track 2 a click is repeated for about 2 minutes, Track 3 the click fades in and out intermittently for most of it but is much softer and quiter. There are no jumps or repeats.
  • Any other marks on the vinyl are no more than the soft brushings caused by the inner sleeve. Without this one noticable mark the vinyl would be an EX to EX+
  •  
  • Sleeve:- EX. Very nice condition, lovely shine on lamininate, crisp fully readable spine and clean back. Only very small point to mention is that about 2" inches of the sleeves bottom edge has a little bit of wear. The sleeve is excellent overall and hard to find in this sort of condition

Labels:- EX . Nice clean labels with only two or three very faint spindle marks each side. A good indication that this vinyl has been played very little

If you think I've misgraded simply return for full refund. I cant say fairer than that can I?
