THE OTHER HALF – “self-titled” (1968) Acta-3804 original pressing EX/Strong VG+ (cover/record)

Killer West Coast guitar psych effort featuring the great Randy Holden before he joined Blue Cheer. This is one of the highly acclaimed genre albums of the era, and the whole thing is great. The group has been compared to the Yardbirds, and it is a great mix of hardrock, blues, and Eastern sounds. The track “Mr. Pharmacist” is a classic that was featured on the Nuggest psych compilation. Rare to find these originals!

This is an original pressing. The cover is nearly perfect with basically no wear, a cut out hole, and the faintest beginning of a 1-inch seam split in the middle of the bottom seam - really nice condition overall. The vinyl is clean and glossy but has a few light hairline scuffs. It plas great with minimal surface noice. A nice copy! Conservative grading: EX/Strong VG+ (cover/record).

I package all LPs securely in record mailers and remove the vinyl from the covers to prevent seam splits during mailing. I do not just stick your record in a priority mailer box from the post office or between two thin pieces of cardboard with no additional packaging materials like so many others!!!
