Description

Welcome to Across the Tracks Music Store
On sale here we really rare sixties Single from:
The Others
Title: Oh Yeah!
(Originally a Bo Diddley song)
Catalogue number TF 501
Label: Fontana
This is a MONO recording
Push out centre 3 prong

Release Year: 1964
The B Side is called:  I'm Taking Her Home
This is an awesome single and one of my Sixties favorites
Classic Sixties British Mod Rock / Freakbeat
If you love bands like The Pretty Things, you will love this band and this song.

Oh Yeah! plays really perfectly on our turntables and is worthy of a near excellent grade for the quality of play on side A.
It does have one main thin line mark on side A, but play is not affected at all.
The B side does have some visible scuff marks in a cluster and I did not expect it to play as well as it does. But again it plays fine and apart from some start up run on crackles, the song plays right through without any problems.
These marks do not have any depth to them, so have not affected the music at all.
The single plays to a much higher standard that you would expect.
But to ensure accuracy I have graded VG+ overall.

The record label is Fontana blue and silver and it is the original Fontana label, that feels slightly rough textured to the touch and looks like the labels were printed or spray painted on, if you know what I mean.
The Fontana label is a little bit faded on the main silver part where the logo is printed.
Matrix information, checked with a fine eyeglass to be accurate
Side A 267386   1F  ? 1  420 1 Then further around the run off, there is a solitary number 2
Side B 267386  2F ? 1  ? 420  1 Then again the solitary 2 further around the run off.
Is the 2 to denote the pressing plant maybe?

The company sleeve is in Very Good condition, and has very few creases for a sleeve of 55 years old.
It has a very small repair on the bottom edge and the white paper is a little bit yellow, but that is all.
This is a harder to find single now and definitely one not to miss.

Please do ask any questions you may have before bidding if you need assistance.    Grading
I use the Rare Record Guide, Discogs and other sources of reference as a guideline but also prefer to listen to the vinyl where possible and not just visually grade the condition.
