Description

A boxed set, featuring 4 stereo vinyl LPs, telling 'The Otis Redding Story' 

60 songs from Otis Redding's all-too-short recording career from 1962's 'These Arms Of Mine' to Sittin' On The Dock Of The Bay in, morre or less, chronological order. Large chunks of 'Sing Soul Ballads' and 'Otis Blue' from 1965 and 5 duets with Carla Thomas from 1967's 'King and Queen'. 

Released in 1987 on Atlantic from the original Stax/Volt recordings. Compiled by Kim Cooke and Rob Bowman.

Includes an 8 page booklet with photos, extensive notes by Rob Bowman and a full track listing with release dates

Plain white paper, inner sleeves 

Comes in a hinge, stiff cardboard presentation box with a photo of Otis on the front and track listing on the back

Condition

On visual inspection I would say the vinyl is VG+ to NM. 

No marks or scratches. No noticeable surface noise, plays well. 

Inner sleeves and booklet are in excellent unmarked condition. 

Box VG+, no noticeable wear  (see photos)
