** VERY RARE JOE MEEK RGM PRODUCED * ORIGINAL 1961 UK HMV MONO FIRST PRESSING * of the first (and only) UK vinyl LP by THE OUTLAWS - featuring BOBBIE GRAHAM on drums, and CHARLES (CHAS) HODGES on bass. A very young RITCHIE BLACKMORE was a member of this band at one time, but I do not think he plays on this album. **
** SUPER-RARE EARLY-60's UK GUITAR-LED INSTRUMENTAL ALBUM, in the style of THE SHADOWS, with a spaghetti western / Wild West theme. This is a RGM Sound Recording from legendary 60's producer - JOE MEEK **
A Very Good condition disc. Still with lustrous shiny vinyl, but with a few surface marks / scuffs / light scratches (see photos). Very thick heavy-duty pressing. Both labels are very clean, with no writing or tears. Some spindle marks, which can only be seen in a certain light. Original MONO mixes of both sides. No skips, jumps, warps, deep scratches or writing on labels.
Very good sound quality throughout, with some minor surface noise, and only a couple of "pops". Very listenable. Tested on a Thorens turntable.
Sleeve "printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd. London", with laminated front and flipback design in Good condition generally. There is a 2.5 inch worn/split area to lower right of sleeve (see photos) . No other seam splits. Minor wear to corner edges. Glossy laminated front looks excellent, with no creases or lamination loss. Spine has minor wear only to extreme corners, but is mostly excellent, and all text is still clearly legible. Some general wear, liquid-staining, and age-related discolouration marks to rear of sleeve.
Supplied in rare original HMV inner sleeve with polythene liner, which is in excellent condition, apart from some crumpling/creasing to corners.

GRADING:
All records are graded using the UK ‘Record Collector’ format:
MINT (M):
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
