THE PATRICK BRADLEY – "JUST ONE MORE CHANCE"

Decca Records | Catalog: 9-34467 (Matrix: 118,947) | 1967 | 7" 45 RPM Single | Mono

Original US First Pressing — Pink Label Radio Station "Promotion Copy - Not For Sale"

The Collector's Overview

An indisputable heavy-hitter of 1960s Northern Soul. Produced by Terry Phillips, "Just One More Chance" by The Patrick Bradley is a certified crossover floor-packer revered for its driving beat, soulful vocal delivery, and massive brass-driven dynamic punch.

Offered here is the original 1967 US Pink Label Promotional 45, distributed exclusively to radio programmers and DJs. Unlike standard commercial stock copies, this authentic promo pressing carries the dual-sided vocal cut on both sides (A/B: 45-118947). Finding this title in preserved, collector-grade condition is exceptionally difficult—most copies were hammered in club play or radio stations decades ago.

Detailed Grading & Assessment (Goldmine Standards)

Vinyl Disc: Near Mint Minus (NM-)

• Visual / Luster: Deep, jet-black, mirror-like factory gloss that looks almost unplayed. Under direct grading light, the playing surfaces are extraordinarily clean with virtually no handling traces, needle marks, or hairline scuffs.

• Centering & Pressing: Dead-flat, clean machine-stamped matrix runouts in the deadwax (45 118947).

• Center Labels: Striking vintage Decca pink promotional labels with bold typography. Side 1 is exceptionally clean; Side 2 features a small, vintage piece of masking tape neatly positioned near the 4 o'clock position (likely a vintage cue-mark from its initial radio station archiving, preserved as found).

Company Sleeve: Strong VG+

• Housed in its authentic, original 1960s "Music Wherever You Go / Decca Phonographs & Guitars" two-tone illustrated paper sleeve.

• Displays light, honest age-toning and gentle handling waves/soft creases along the top lip and corner, consistent with 55+ years of careful shelf storage. The seams are tight and solid with no blowouts, heavy splits, or repairs.

Shipping & Returns Policy

Professional Packaging

• Secure Handling: Your record will be shipped in a dedicated, heavy-duty cardboard mailer (LP or 45 specific) with extra cardboard stiffeners to prevent bending or crushing.

• Pro-Tip Protection: To prevent seam splits during transit, all opened records are shipped with the vinyl removed from the jacket (housed in its inner sleeve) and placed behind the jacket within a 4mil clear poly outer sleeve.

• 45s: 7" records are shipped with the same level of care in dedicated 7-inch mailers.

Fast & Tracked Shipping

• Handling Time: I ship within 1–2 business days of receiving cleared payment.

• Tracking: A tracking number will be provided immediately upon shipment.

• Combined Shipping: I am happy to combine shipping. Please wait for a revised invoice before paying to receive the discounted rate.

Returns & Satisfaction

• The "Collector’s Guarantee": I use strict Goldmine Grading standards. If you feel the record does not match the description or grading, please contact me directly before leaving feedback. I am a collector first and I value your satisfaction.

• 30-Day Returns: I accept returns within 30 days. The item must be returned in the exact same condition it was received.

• 🚨 CONDITION POLICY: For opened records, returns are accepted if the item is returned in the same condition as sent. Any new scratches, sleeve scuffs, or damage to the jacket incurred while in the buyer's possession will void the full refund.

• Shipping Costs: Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless there was a significant error in the listing.
