Description
This is an original pressing on Vanguard Records,Cat# 79364(stereo) The condition of the cover is (NM) Near Mint, still in its "shrink wrap" the only "eyesore" is a drill-hole in the upper right hand corner (see pix) The rest of the cover is in great shape! Seams, and, or spines are all good. The condition of the vinyl is a strong (EX+) The wax is bright & shiny with only a few paper scuffs or surface marks that do not affect the fidelity which is terrific! There is a bit of low surface noise in between some tracks, but there are no "snaps, crackles, or pops" while the music plays. Al Pazant on trumpet is joined by brother Ed on alto,tenor & baritone saxes, plus flute. Peter Yellin- tenor sax/ Mike Terry- trombone/ Ray Chew-keyboards/Perry Smith-drums/Pablo Lundrum-percussion/ Aaron Thompson-bass & Harry Jensen-guitar make up the band, & Betty Barney, Francis Courtney & "Cookie" Harris are the female vocal choir. Released in 1975 the LP has gone onto become a CLASSIC in every sense of the word! So, God bless, good luck & Peace!
