THE PERTH COUNTY CONSPIRACY “Does Not Exist” Original Folk Psych lp!
1970/Canada/Columbia Records EKL-375….. here’s a nice original first pressing of their rare first lp. The thick gatefold cover(not the second press uni-pack gatefold cover) is in strong VG++ condition with a touch of corner wear and a split at the center on inner gatefold, slightest shelf wear, otherwise the cover is clean and solid with no splits or delete, clean solid spine and seams. The vinyl is in VG+ condition with light storage stains/mottling from the inner sleeve, a few light shallow hairline suffs/scratches and a super light inaudible whispy scuff across side two. The record plays nice with some light noise/crackle here and there but nothing too alarming or too distracting. I have recorded a small sample directly from the lp being offered, no sound fixing. Includes the M- folded insert. A nice copy of this rare first press lp. Please check my listings for other rock and psych lp’s. Good luck and thanks for looking!
Perth County Conspiracy was a Canadian folk music group based in Stratford, Ontario. It was formed in 1969 and was active until at least 1977. The founding members were guitarist-singers Richard Keelan (formerly of the American band The Spike Drivers) and Cedric Smith, who were joined by Terry Jones (guitar, vocals), Michael Butler (bass) and George Taros (piano, vocals) and other friends and family members.

GRADING
MINT: I consider only New Unplayed or Sealed items.
NM OR M- or Mint Minus is the same to me, very clean with clean visual appearance and sound, there may be a couple of light inaudible hairline scuffs or such and will be mentioned in the listing, a Mint- record looks and plays clean. Same for the cover. Very clean with no delete or other issues.
EXCELLENT: still very collectable for most, visually and sonicly clean. A handful of light inaudible scuffs, or hairlines. Cover will be clean with little wear, or delete. No splits.
VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal wear, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have a few minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much. Cover will have slight shelf wear, and or delete, minor split.
VG+ the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects.
