Description

Air Check Records F.F. 101/102, this is an original white label promo pressing of the  super rare Pharaohs 45 featuring "The Lonely Martian" b/w "Unknown Planet." The Pharaohs were a garage band from British Columbia that put out a few singles under their own name and also backing up Peter Kelch. This single was re-released on Chattahoochee Records, but this is the first pressing. Vinyl has seen better days - lots and lots of scuffs/marks on both sides, as it was haphazardly stored in a box of promo records for the last 50+ years. There is also a slight storage warp due to how it was leaning, but does not affect tracking. Much crackle/sizzle before the music kicks in; once the songs started, I enjoyed them, even with some background crackle. Labels show some ring wear and red "sample" stamps on either side.
