Description
as introduced by THE PINETOPPERS 1951 Coral Records
Microgroove Unbreakable 33-? RPM LP Record CRL 56040
This is exactly the record and record jacket described in the title of this auction. It is an original 1951 example of Coral Records CRL 56040 called as introduced by THE PINETOPPERS and includes hits like Mockin’ Bird Hill, Metro Polka, Waltz of the Roses, Blue Bonnet Schottische, etc.
Of course, Mocking Bird Hill went on to be an even greater hit for many recording legends than it was for The Pinetoppers. The 10-¼ x 10-¼ inch jacket tells the whole story on the back.
We are not record experts, but we have played every track on this 9-? inch diameter record and can only describe it as in very, very good playable condition. It is very early 1950s toe-taping music at its best and you can listen to an original Pinetoppers version of Mockin’ Bird Hill on YouTube! The record and jacket are in great condition, exactly as shown in our excellent pictures.
