A TOP DRAWER garage prog psych 'PROTO PUNK' album that sounds amazing, raw and vital!
'DO IT' kicks off proceedings in irreverent punky style, and basically that's the setting they deliver on, it compares with MC5 and The Stooges for unapologetic and energetic feral rock..... a full 4 years ahead of the British Punk revolution spearheaded by (the brilliant) The Damned!
It's special to find the original custom first issued thick poly art cover, with the poster-card holdout sleeve and picture inner - complete!
HOWEVER take note; because this first pressing disc has been too long I played, and the inner has over the years left a 'ripple' marking on the surface, I have a SECOND copy which is in fine condition that's included, with a regular glossy cover as issued.
This is TWO copies of the same recorded album, one first edition and one second issue - in one package.

CONDITION;
The VINYL plays through for both these discs, no scratches and no skips. The first issue has a light hiss evident as a result of the 'sweating' from the poly sleeve, the second has no hiss and plays great, grading at least EXCELLENT.

Labels are in NEAR MINT condition.

The CUSTOM POLY SLEEVE COVER is NM, as is the Card POSTER inner art cover.
There's also the first inner sleeve picture inner, with the band peering rather stoned from a hedge!!
Very cool, and there's Twink Alder in his stove-pipe hat looking suitably weird. (See pictures)
These deviants had played their first freak-out outside The Isle of Wight Festival for free, and infamously were as prone to stripping off as Hawkwind's Stacia!
And people thought PJ Proby splitting trousers was controversial only a couple of years earlier.

A rare original issue complete.
