"THE" PINK FLOYD LP PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN (Capitol Records ST 5093). Released 1967.
Unusual naming: On the spine the band is called "The Pink Floyd." On the label, they are called "Pink Floyd." Which is it, I ask?
In shrink wrap! Orig US stereo on orange Tower label. Disc is in superb shape. The matrix number is sharply cut, which indicates a hot stamper pressing. I bought this last month from the orig. owner, who safely stored it on a shelf its entire life. (Etched matrix #: "ST1-5093-A1/B2" & triangle mastering stamp).

DISC: E+
Visual grading reveals 1" hairline scratch on Side B & a very faint tiny half-scuff. Otherwise a nice surface w/ decent sheen. No skips or warping. This album has been safely stored upright in a climate-controlled environment.
COVER: VG+
I think a collector who appreciates a cover that's less than pristine will appreciate this. No tape, cut-out marks, water damage, color fading, or stickers. Quarter inch half-split at top opening is barely visible. Barely visible front ring wear. No creases, but 8" shallow line of indentation on front is hard to spot, as are the 2 shallow bubbles. Faint ring on back. Spine is all readable with very few dents. Owner inked name on back. No blemishes on label, except the faint transparent spindle brushings on the sharp-cut hole.
To save you money, we combine multiple purchases. Securely packed in protective plastic polybag & several layers of cardboard (disc outside of jacket). If this item is not as described, we accept returns. Buyer will pay return shipping.
