UK 1st pressing on Columbia The Gramophone Co. text on rim Sold In The UK Subject to resale price conditions KT tax code on B side label
Vinyl: EX! Outstanding looking copy! Just has the faintest superficial hairlines that have NO effect on playback Audio: NEAR MINT! Beautiful playing copy, virtually NO background crackle on initial run, thereafter plays as MINT. PLEASE NOTE! This UK 1st pressing was cut SUPER LOUD!! You will HAVE to turn down your normal volume setting!
It's mastered too 'hot' and all 1st pressings play with some treble distortion, this is not a fault with the grooves it's the way it was mastered back in 1967 (google it, especially the Steve Hoffman forum which confirms this distortion issue being very common). That aside, this is easily one of the best sounding and best playing copies you're likely to get your hands on!
Comes with a red Columbia sleeve and a really nice replica of the original promo picture sleeve! The promo disc with sleeve sells for £2500+!!
Postage discounts for multi-buys. 1st item must be paid for and you must let me know you are bidding on more items. Sent in proper cruciform record mailers with cardboard stiffeners. Please don't advise me on how to pack! Thousands of records mailed without any problems! All items shipped with tracking and insurance, and customs declarations where required, no exceptions.
Postage costs: I use PROPER record mailers. Ebay charge 10% of postage fee. So for example, £15 signed for international shipping actually costs me money! £10.75 + £2.50 insurance + £1.50 eBay fee + £1.00 proper record mailer and label costs = £15.75...
