Description
A great opportunity to buy a VINYL LP from the 1960s by The Plastic Ono Band (featuring John Lennon & Yoko Ono) called "Live Peace In Toronto 1969" and it comes complete with Calendar (see below).
This is a U.K. second pressing (without the "Sold In The UK" label text) released in 1969 on the Apple label (CORE 2001) (stereo) and has 8 tracks (see photos for track listings).
The matrix numbers in the dead wax are:- CORE 2001 A-1U (side one) and CORE 2001 B-1U (side two).
The vinyl is in a clean and shiny VERY GOOD condition. I always examine and grade records under a bright table lamp and although there are some light hairline surface marks evident, I have played both sides in their entirety and they both play and sound fine, but with the odd click now and again.
The smooth labels are free from any writing, stickers or major defects. There are a few spindle marks noticeable on both sides when tilted towards the light.
The record is flat and has no warps of any description.
The record is housed within a plain white die-cut inner sleeve. It is in an EXCELLENT condition.
The Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd front & back laminated cover is in an EXCELLENT condition. The edges and spine are still very strong, with the printing on the spine clearly readable (see photo). There is a light creasing of laminate in a few places and minor wear on parts of the opening edge. The back cover has a hint of ring-wear when tilted towards the light.
Included with the record is a 1970 John & Yoko Calendar which is in an EXCELLENT condition. All of the pages are clean and intact (see photos of selected pages).
This is still a highly presentable Beatles- related LP and should be of interest to avid collectors.
